Our Corporate Team - Rita Pesecky
Rita Pesecky, Director of Human Resources & Corporate Communications
As Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications, Rita develops and executes the human resources strategy for the Company and its 1,600 team members. She serves as a key advisor to Gateway Hospitality Group's leadership team and provides professional growth opportunities, resources and counsel for all associates to maximize performance. Her responsibilities also include providing orientation training at all new opening properties, as well as providing leadership training to strengthen the internal talent pool.
Prior to joining Gateway Hospitality Group, she held positions with major multi-national hotel companies such as Renaissance Hotels & Resorts International, Stouffer Hotels & Resorts, a division of Nestle's USA and BridgeStreet Accommodations. Rita also worked as an independent consultant servicing prestigious companies in Northeast, Ohio by providing sales and marketing consulting services.
Rita graduated Cum Laude from Hiram, College, Hiram, Ohio and received a B.S. in Social Sciences.
Today, in addition to her professional accomplishment, Rita is a volunteer for Kent State University's Student Mentoring program, and is also a volunteer for Providence House, A Crisis Nursery in Cleveland.
