Roger Greene, Regional Director of Operations, Midwest Region
Roger Greene, Regional Director of Operations, Midwest Region and General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland/Twinsburg since 2001 is a 30-year hospitality veteran and a native of Canton, Ohio.
After graduating from Kent State University with a BS in Business Management, Greene began his career with Associated Motor Inns where he was General Manager for Stouffer Hotels in Columbus and Cleveland. He later moved on to Laks Enterprise owned and managed hotels and for 15 years held the position as Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing.
His extensive hospitality experience, exceptional customer service and marketing talent add to the overall success and objectives of Gateway Hospitality Group hotel properties. His strong leadership has propelled many of his TEAM members to high level positions within the Gateway Hospitality Group organization as well as positions throughout the country with other Gateway Hospitality Group of managed hotels.
Greene specializes in the streamlined processes of food and beverage creativity, hospitality marketing and team leadership and is an integral part of Gateway's regional team. He was awarded General Manager of the Year by the Hilton Garden Inn brand in 2002 and has served on the Hilton Garden Inn brands General Managers Operations panel for 3 years.
